Whether you have Mila devices in your home, vacation house, college dorm, or office, setting up different locations in the Mila app is easy and convenient. Locations not only helps you manage your devices effectively but also allows you to share access with others, like family members or coworkers, on a location-by-location basis. Here’s how you can add a new location in the app:

Open the Mila App: Start by opening the Mila app on your mobile device.

Go to Settings: In the app, navigate to the ‘Settings’ menu. This is found in the bottom right corner of the Mila app.

Access the Location Tab: Within ‘Settings’, you’ll find a tab or section labeled ‘Location’. Tap on it to view your current locations.

Add a New Location: In the ‘Location’ section, you’ll see a dropdown menu displaying your currently selected location. Look for an option to ‘Create New Location’ or ‘Add Location’. Select this to proceed.

Name Your New Location: You will be prompted to name your new location. Choose a name that easily identifies the place, like ‘Vacation Home’ or ‘Office’.

Adding Mila to the New Location: Once you’ve created the new location, you can add your Mila device to it. Ensure that you are physically near the Mila device and connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the device. This is necessary for the app to detect and add the Mila to your selected location.

Share Access: If you wish to share access to this new location with others, you can do so via the location settings. Choose the option to share access and follow the prompts to add users.
